    About the role#

    NVIDIA offers 12-week full-time internships for students pursuing degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity. These roles involve projects that have a measurable impact on our business. We review applications on an ongoing basis to fill various systems software opportunities.

    What you'll do#

    • Define, design, and develop integrated and discrete GPU system software components.
    • Harden and develop secure solutions across the software stack, from multi-node supercomputers to microcontrollers.
    • Design and implement graphics drivers for OpenGL, OpenGL ES, and Vulkan.
    • Support the development of firmware run on embedded microcontrollers within GPUs.
    • Investigate optimization opportunities and resolve problems within compiler backends.

    What you'll need#

    • Active enrollment in a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • A clear indication of your anticipated graduation date on your resume or CV.
    • Knowledge or experience in programming skills including C, C++, C++17, CUDA, and x86.
    • Familiarity with operating systems, computer architecture, and low-level programming concepts.

    • Location: Santa Clara, California.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Duration: 12 weeks, full-time.
    • Compensation: 20 USD to 71 USD per hour, depending on the specific role, location, and your academic level.
