About the role#
We are looking for a Compiler Engineer intern to join our team in San Jose. You will help develop the compiler and runtime for our in-memory machine learning accelerators. This role is on-site and full-time.
What you'll do#
- Support techniques to speed up early compiler development.
- Work on methods to statically analyze program properties.
- Develop compiler optimizations to improve the latency and bandwidth of our ML models.
- Coordinate with QA teams to ensure software quality.
What you'll need#
- A graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a focus on compilers.
- Experience with compiler development.
- Proficiency in C++, C, or Rust.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with low-level software architecture, modeling, or validation.
- Knowledge of AI network architectures like CNN, LSTM, transformer, and diffusion models.
- Experience using MLIR and IREE.
