About the role#
NXP is hiring an Analog Validation Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Austin, Texas. You will support the validation team in ensuring product quality through disciplined testing and technical analysis.
What you'll do#
- Prepare test setups and execute validation procedures.
- Collect and summarize data to report findings.
- Assist with debugging technical issues and improving test coverage.
- Work alongside design, systems, and software teams to resolve problems.
- Maintain validation plans, technical records, and reports for project visibility.
- Document observations to support product quality and team learning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience gained through lab work, student projects, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with engineering, verification, or lab tools and a willingness to learn new software or hardware.
- A strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English, both written and spoken.
- You must be returning to school or graduating at the end of this internship term.
