About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for students currently enrolled in a nursing program. You will work on-site in the Labor and Delivery department at Odessa Regional Medical Center. This role requires you to be a current employee of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with their daily living activities.
- Perform various patient care tasks.
- Keep the clinical environment safe and clean.
- Complete assigned duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- Ability to maintain the education requirements of your nursing program.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Status as a current employee of the organization.
