    About the role#

    The Research Design and Data Analysis (RDDA) Student Consultant provides guidance to students and faculty at Palo Alto University. You will help researchers make informed decisions regarding their dissertations, publications, and scholarly projects through one-on-one consultation. This is a part-time position capped at 10 hours per week.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide consultation on research design, statistical analysis, and methodology.
    • Advise researchers on best practices for data collection, management, and integrity.
    • Conduct independent research to find and recommend methodological or statistical solutions.
    • Keep your knowledge of analytical tools and research techniques current.
    • Attend bi-weekly supervision meetings with the RDDA Manager.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a current Palo Alto University student in good academic standing.
    • Completion of doctoral level coursework in Research Methods, Statistics, and Psychometrics is required.
    • You need a demonstrated understanding of quantitative research methods, research design, and statistical analysis.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in Palo Alto, California, with both remote and on-site work options available.
    • The position is paid at $22 per hour.
    • The role operates on a rolling term basis.
