About the role#
PDT Partners is seeking students for a 10-week Software Engineering internship. This program runs from early June to mid-August. You will work alongside senior developers on individual projects and receive hands-on mentorship. We look for interns who bring energy and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
What you'll do#
You will build and maintain technology that supports the trading life cycle. Your work will involve designing, developing, debugging, and testing software components for financial data. You may also contribute to the infrastructure and maintenance of large-scale data sets and develop tooling for infrastructure management. You will tackle problems that lack well-defined solutions and learn about financial markets and trading technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Graduation date of Fall 2027 or later.
- Strong programming skills with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
