About the role#
As a Department Manager Intern, you will work alongside experienced managers to oversee factory operations. This role focuses on leadership and process improvement within a manufacturing environment. You will earn $27.25 per hour during this summer program.
What you'll do#
- Manage factory team members.
- Maintain responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Manage the department budget regarding labor efficiencies.
- Apply continuous improvement principles through specific projects and team initiatives.
- Reward and hold team members accountable for their performance.
What you'll need#

- Ability to manage factory team members effectively.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
