About the role#
Blue Ridge Cable 11 is hiring an intern to help promote sports and live programming. You will create posts, videos, and graphics to increase viewership for our productions. This is a paid, part-time position requiring approximately 25 hours per week. Your schedule will include Fridays from 4PM to 11:30PM, with variable hours Monday through Thursday.
What you'll do#
- Update promotional templates for sports productions.
- Post daily content on Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Publish approved sports stories on YouTube.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design degree program.
- Pennsylvania residency.
- Valid PA Driver's License and a good driving record.
- Background in media communications, copywriting, and visual design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and Photoshop.
- Ability to work on both PC and Mac workstations.
- Experience with YouTube, Twitter/X, and Meta platforms and scheduling tools.
- Ability to work independently and present projects to the Social Media Manager.
