About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides an introduction to the Real Estate Banking division within the Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) group. You will gain exposure to the full deal-making process, including acquisition, construction, and permanent financing for various property types. The program serves as a pipeline for the C&IB Development Program, offering you the chance to work alongside senior management and build a foundation for your career.
What you'll do#
- Support the Relationship Team with daily operations, including underwriting tasks like portfolio administration, periodic reviews, and loan documentation.
- Assist with sales functions such as client research, pre-call planning, and the creation of pitchbooks.
- Participate in internal projects and apply your knowledge to support business results.
- Engage in social learning by networking with peers, finding mentors, and participating in job shadowing.
- Work under supervision while gaining hands-on experience with banking services like cash management and capital markets solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably with junior status.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Academic focus in business-relevant fields such as Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Initiative and a self-directed approach to professional growth.
