About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program offers hands-on experience within the Financial Wellness Solutions organization at PNC. You will gain exposure to retail banking operations, including deposit, lending, and investment services. The program focuses on developing your skills in sales, relationship management, and financial wellness strategies through a combination of formal learning and on-the-job training.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily banking activities, such as preparing client presentations and proposals.
- Schedule and attend client appointments to help move relationships forward.
- Engage in proactive sales conversations to help build the client base.
- Participate in social learning, including networking with peers and business representatives.
- Take part in mentoring and job shadowing to build a foundation in retail products.
- Work on special projects related to business strategic priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with sophomore or junior status.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Preference for majors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.
- A professional attitude and an interest in the financial wellness industry.
- Ability to travel up to 10% and access to reliable transportation for local assignments.
