About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will work on the development and integration of FPGA interfaces for Avionics applications. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Melbourne, Florida, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Design FPGA firmware with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Perform code entry, synthesis, simulation, and on-target testing.
- Analyze and simulate designs to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Write test scripts and documentation for FPGA designs.
- Debug hardware products using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
What you'll need#
- You must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- You need to be enrolled in your program through the end of the internship.
- You must have completed at least 60 credit hours by the start date.
- You must be a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
