About the role#
This is a full-time Procurement Intern position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work remotely as part of the Supply Chain team, gaining exposure to procurement processes and supplier management within the aviation industry.
What you'll do#
- Place purchase orders for low to medium dollar levels and complexity.
- Manage supplier relationships, development, and performance.
- Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ documents.
- Analyze quotations and proposals using price and cost analysis techniques.
- Drive success for key performance metrics.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial and Labor Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools and supply chain processes.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: Experience in a defense contracting environment.
- Preferred: Experience with SAP or PRISM software.
- Preferred: Prior internship, co-op, or work experience at RTX.
