About the role#
The Finance Optimization Intern joins our team to gain hands-on experience in financial services. You will work closely with finance professionals to support key initiatives, including organizational transformation tasks. This role provides exposure to basic functions across finance, accounting, and tax departments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly analysis, projections, and trend identification for revenues and expenses.
- Analyze firm performance and compile reports to support various projects.
- Handle ad hoc requests, including direct interaction with the c-suite and executive leadership team.
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current standing as a rising senior pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or statistics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A desire to learn about career opportunities within the financial services industry.
- Ability to work as a self-starter who manages time and organizational tasks effectively.
- One to two years of experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
