About the role#
As an intern in the Deals Corporate Finance practice, you will join a team focused on providing advice and support to clients throughout the deal lifecycle. This role involves working on transactions including sales, mergers, acquisitions, and financing, as well as supporting business development efforts. You will gain exposure to complex business issues and contribute to delivering deal solutions.
What you'll do#
- Conduct thorough research on companies and industries.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials, such as teasers and Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs).
- Obtain information from client data to conduct financial analysis.
- Prepare financial models to support analysis in proposals and transaction documentation.
- Manage transaction status reports.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in post-secondary education pursuing a business or commerce degree with a specialization in finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and Capital IQ.
- Comprehensive financial and accounting skills, including knowledge of cash flow, financial modelling, and valuation.
- Excellente maîtrise du français exigée.
