About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2028 based in Atlanta, Georgia. As an intern in the Digital Assurance and Transparency practice, you will work alongside audit teams to gain hands-on experience with professional methodologies. This role focuses on learning, research, and supporting projects that uphold transparency and regulatory compliance for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting and decision-making processes.
- Participate in the application of auditing methodologies to maintain transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Observe and learn from experienced auditors to gain exposure to professional work environments.
- Assist in the assessment of internal controls and compliance standards.
- Engage in research and basic tasks to contribute to team objectives.
- Gather information to analyze facts and identify patterns in financial data.
- Collaborate with team members to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of audit processes.
- Develop your personal skills and understanding of professional and technical standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
- Typically in your third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA (a 3.5 GPA is preferred).
- Must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam or CISA licensure prior to starting full-time employment.
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta.
