About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within our tax practice to support teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies. You will gain exposure to global tax complexities while participating in projects that contribute to client success. This role focuses on learning our methodologies, performing tasks to support team objectives, and developing your professional skills through hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor degree in Accounting.
- Third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA (3.5 GPA is preferred).
- Meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time.
- Ability to use AI to create efficiencies.
- Intellectual curiosity in tax research and planning.
- Experience in international tax planning, corporate tax consulting, and multistate tax compliance.
- Experience using data analytics for tax strategy.

- Compensation: $29.25 - $48.00 per hour.
