About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with our tax consulting teams to gain experience in global tax services. You will support the delivery of tax advice, help manage compliance, and participate in projects that optimize tax positions for clients. This role focuses on learning our methodologies and contributing to team goals while you develop your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in providing tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax regulations to help minimize risks and optimize positions.
- Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to build tax models and structures.
- Prepare tax provisions and assist with audits to validate compliance.
- Use data analytics to find opportunities for tax efficiency.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
- Support the creation of regulatory compliance strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically in your third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
