About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Jupiter, Florida. You will work on-site at the engine test facility. The role requires U.S. citizenship. You will gain practical experience in the aerospace industry while supporting engine validation planning and testing.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain predictive models to forecast risk factors for engine validation.
- Use statistical modeling to find patterns, trends, and anomalies in validation data.
- Create data visualization dashboards and reports to share findings.
- Develop and publish new knowledge assets within EKS.
- Explain technical results to both technical and non-technical teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Understanding of aircraft engine systems and validation processes.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
