About the role#
This internship provides a practical learning experience across a multi-course operation. You will be assigned to a home course and gain exposure to various departments including retail, tournament management, maintenance, and food and beverage. The program supports your professional growth through goal setting, individual meetings with head professionals, and study groups with assistant professionals.
What you'll do#
Your daily work includes managing outside operations and assisting with tournament and corporate event facilitation. You will handle visual merchandising and report on par stock levels. Depending on your internship level, you may also manage supply levels, execute opening and closing procedures, maintain log books, and oversee rental club procedures. You will assist with junior clinics and participate in PGA-PGM education, career advancement seminars, and leadership seminars.
What you'll need#
You must be currently pursuing a degree in PGA Golf Management, Sports Management, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Greensboro, Georgia. The role offers a base pay of $12 per hour plus variable income from commissions and lessons. Positions are available on a rolling basis.
