About the role#
As a Federal Credits and Incentives Tax Intern, you will join our team in McLean for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship where you will gain hands-on experience in tax planning and technical research.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax planning and research focused on R&D credits and other federal incentives.
- Manage multiple projects by conducting client interviews, performing computations, and gathering data.
- Draft opinion letters and technical memoranda.
- Build a strong understanding of our clients and their business needs.
- Support the successful delivery of R&D and federal credit engagements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You must have a reliable mode of transportation to travel to client locations.

- This role is based in McLean, Virginia.
- This is an on-site position.
