About the role#
As a Microsoft Finance & Supply Chain Consulting Intern, you will join our Business Applications practice during the Summer of 2027. You will work alongside executive leadership teams to help clients reach business objectives by aligning people, processes, and technology. This role provides mentoring from experienced professionals and access to training to help you build your career in the technology industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist project teams with deliverables and participate in project scoping and solution development meetings.
- Map client business requirements to Microsoft Dynamics D365 and configure solutions.
- Design and document functions and features to meet specific business objectives.
- Create and enhance internal tools to support consulting methodologies.
- Develop solutions for industry-related toolsets using RSM intellectual property.
- Test proposed solutions in lab environments and troubleshoot business application issues.
- Capture client requirements and build successful customer relationships.
- Provide both onsite and remote support while utilizing structured project delivery methods.
- Leverage new technologies to drive process efficiencies.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a degree in Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations & Supply Chain, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergraduates or 3.2 for graduate students.
- Previous work or internship experience.
- Basic understanding of business processes and process design concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or CRM systems or prior consulting exposure.
- Strong business judgment and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and in teams.
- A self-motivated, competitive, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to learn, contribute, and accept feedback.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Remote and on-site work required.
- Travel: This role includes up to 50% travel.
