About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern at S&B, you will perform routine assignments under close supervision. You will apply standard design techniques and procedures to support our projects in the oil and gas industry. This role requires daily face-to-face interaction and collaboration within a multi-discipline team.
What you'll do#
- Prepare basic design sketches and perform calculations for equipment and systems.
- Gather data at existing plants to support equipment specifications and purchase requisitions.
- Evaluate vendor bids and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Create equipment lists and load summaries.
- Assist in the preparation of design guides and contract proposals.
- Participate in plant start-ups and field assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages and automated engineering design equipment.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Previous internship experience is preferred but not required.
