About the role#
The Spark Summer Internship is a full-time program running from May 2027 through August 2027. You will join a cohort of interns to gain experience across our service lines, including civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering. This role offers the chance to work directly with experienced professional and technical employee-owners.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners.
- Participate in an intern cohort.
- Learn about all aspects of S&ME operations.
- Gain hands-on experience in your area of interest.
- Take part in professional development activities to help transition from campus to your career.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a related degree program, specifically Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Preference is given to rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students.
- Related experience or leadership roles in campus, community, or work settings are preferred.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Capability to perform routine lifting of 40 to 50 lbs.
- Ability to meet the requirements of our Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.
