About the role#
The Spark Summer Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical engineering. As an intern, you will work directly with experienced professional and technical employee-owners. You will join an intern cohort and gain insight into all aspects of the firm. This is a full-time, paid position running for twelve weeks from May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technical experts on engineering projects.
- Participate in professional development sessions to help bridge the gap between campus and your career.
- Engage with your intern cohort throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a related degree program, such as Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Preference is given to rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students.
- Previous related experience or leadership roles in campus or community organizations is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for technical roles.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.
- Compliance with company policies, including the Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and reference checks.
- Valid employment eligibility verification (I-9).
