About the role#
Saint Mary's College is hiring a Student Assistant for the Career Crossings Office (CCO). This is a paid, part-time, on-site position open to current Saint Mary's students. The role involves a mix of administrative support and creative marketing tasks.
What you'll do#
- Greet students and visitors and answer telephone inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and respond to CCO emails.
- Enter job opportunities and data into Handshake.
- Distribute posters and flyers around campus.
- Design marketing materials and manage CCO social media accounts.
- Assist with office tasks like typing documents, photocopying, and running campus errands.
- Support staff with event planning, research on employers, and gathering data.
What you'll need#
- Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
- Professional demeanor and excellent service skills when working with students, faculty, and visitors.
- Ability to be dependable and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media management.
- Enrollment as a Saint Mary's student.
Location & details#
- Location: Notre Dame, Indiana.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Preferred hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional evening or weekend work for events.
- Term: Rolling.
