About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Records and Information Governance Department. You will support our team by managing paper records, handling box storage, and working on compliance projects. This role is designed for students who want to apply classroom knowledge to real-world utility operations while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Manage paper records and coordinate box storage.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and updates of the SRP Records Retention Schedule.
- Use records and information management systems, including OpenText Content Server.
- Provide research, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders regarding records management.
- Coordinate the transfer of records between business areas and off-site storage facilities.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a minimum of 6 college credits at the 100 level or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work at least 25 hours per week between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.

- This position is based in Tempe, Arizona.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, allowing for telework up to three days per week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
