About the role#
The Account Development Representative intern role serves as a starting point for a career in SaaS sales. You will work at the front of our go-to-market strategy, helping to build demand for our full line of products. This position is designed for individuals who want to develop enterprise technology sales skills and advance their careers. You will work alongside executives to see how sales organizations succeed.
What you'll do#
- Hunt for new leads and map enterprise accounts.
- Build demand for the full line of Samsara products.
- Make 50 calls to prospective customers every day.
- Collaborate with teammates throughout the selling process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year Bachelor's degree program or graduation within the last year.
- At least 6 months of sales experience or demonstrated sales prospecting ability, such as through coursework or competitions.
- Ability and willingness to make 50 cold calls daily.
- 6 months of experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo.
- A growth mindset and a collaborative approach to your work.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Phoenix, Arizona.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
