About the role#
As a software engineering intern, you will work on high-impact projects across our connected operations platform. You will join a team that builds and scales infrastructure to support over 15,000 hardware assets and tens of thousands of global customers. We offer opportunities to work on backend systems, full-stack web development, mobile infrastructure, and embedded software for edge AI and real-time data processing.
What you'll do#
- Build backend infrastructure for our IoT platform.
- Work across the full stack to create intuitive user experiences that turn data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate on features and deliver customer value.
- Participate in customer interviews and use metrics to ensure your work translates into real outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Currently a junior-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Hands-on experience with programming and related technologies.
- Curiosity and a self-driven approach to solving complex technical problems.
- Experience working both independently and across cross-functional teams.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in San Francisco, California, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week in the office.
