About the role#
We are looking for a casual Deli Clerk to join the team at our Innisfail Food Store. This role involves working less than 24 hours per week with availability required across weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Applicants must be over 14 years old.
What you'll do#
- Provide helpful service to customers.
- Prepare deli items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for the sales floor.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the manager.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
- Experience in food preparation is helpful, but we provide training.
