About the role#
Save-On-Foods is hiring a Pharmacy Intern for the Managed Care division in the Greater Vancouver region. You will report to the Manager of Managed Care and gain experience across marketing, pharmacy operations, and clinical practice. This role involves 16 to 20 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Create communication materials and promotional tools to support health and wellness programs.
- Work directly with the public in clinical programs under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Help implement care plans, vaccination services, and chronic disease management programs.
- Support daily retail pharmacy operations and clinical stores.
- Coordinate and attend community and in-store health events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Faculty of Pharmacy at an accredited university, having completed your 2nd or 3rd year.
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications and experience with the Kroll computer system.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical topics such as vaccinations and chronic diseases.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
