About the role#
The ASPIRE Commercial Banking program provides students with hands-on experience in the mid-market sector. You will work with teams that provide financial advice and solutions to mid-sized businesses in industries like manufacturing, retail, technology, and professional services. This role focuses on building your expertise in financial transactions, credit analysis, and client relationship management.
What you'll do#
- Support client relationship teams through research, financial analysis, and administrative tasks.
- Conduct company and industry analysis to help inform credit and business decisions.
- Learn how the Bank balances client needs with risk and operational considerations.
- Contribute to key projects and partner across teams to drive business outcomes.
- Champion a client-focused culture to deepen relationships with clients and internal partners.
- Ensure daily activities and decisions align with the Bank's risk appetite and culture.
- Build your analytical and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation skills and a professional demeanor.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking.

- Locations: London, Ontario and Windsor, Ontario.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
