About the role#
This internship provides undergraduate, MBA, and Masters students with exposure to the investment industry within the Global Capital Markets group. You will support Equity Research Analysts by performing financial analyses, including company valuations and market comparisons. You will gain insight into the factors that influence stock prices and the broader financial markets.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain financial models, industry databases, and spreadsheets.
- Create tables and graphs for research publications and presentations.
- Conduct primary research using industry and financial sources.
- Write reports on specific companies and industries.
- Prepare marketing presentations using PowerPoint.
- Participate in AI adoption projects within the Equity Research department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, specifically in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong analytical, accounting, and math skills.
- Excellent Excel proficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A record of academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities like clubs or competitions.

- This is a full-time, paid position located in Toronto, Ontario.
- The term runs from January 2027 through April 2027.
- This role is on-site.
