About the role#
This internship supports the Data and Business Operational Initiatives team within Global Banking and Markets. You will work alongside project managers to help oversee initiatives that drive operational efficiencies, streamline business processes, and manage risk for the capital markets division.
What you'll do#
- Provide support to assigned Project or Program Managers.
- Prepare project artifacts, templates, presentation materials, and progress reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Attend program meetings and act as the meeting secretary.
- Maintain databases and internal tools used to track project progress, documentation, and regulatory developments.
- Conduct research and handle one-off projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution pursuing a Bachelors or Advanced Degree in business, finance, engineering, or law.
- Interest in and knowledge of the capital markets business.
- Experience working on a major project or initiative team.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous, matrix-based environment.
- Advanced skills in MS Suite, specifically Excel and Access.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Initiative, creativity, good judgment, and a strong sense of teamwork.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
