About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity based in Anjou, Quebec, for the Winter 2027 term (January to April). You will join the Canadian Banking team to support accounting and automotive financing operations. The work is on-site and requires 37.5 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Enter interim financial statements into Moody’s Risk Analyst (RA) while meeting deadlines.
- Monitor client account health through trend analysis.
- Help determine client risk ratings.
- Liaise with syndicated banks to gather due diligence information.
- Provide administrative support for credit and execution activities.
- Prepare reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a higher education program focused on business or automotive studies.
- Foundational credit knowledge, including contract drafting, financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in intermediate accounting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an orientation toward finding solutions.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Fluency in both French and English, as the role requires regular collaboration with teams in Toronto and communication with English-speaking clients.
