About the role#
This internship program places you within teams that design, build, and test the software for our autonomous systems. You will work on projects ranging from user-facing applications and embedded flight software to machine learning models and systems platforms. Over the course of the program, you will work alongside full-time engineers to contribute to our technology.
What you'll do#
- Analyze requirements and translate them into working code.
- Write and debug production-quality software.
- Ship a real feature or capability.
- Follow Agile development practices to complete your project.
- Collaborate with team members on embedded systems, web or mobile applications, and machine learning pipelines.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience writing, testing, and debugging code from coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes work with embedded systems, machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, or robotics and aerospace applications.
