About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside industry experts on technical projects within our aerospace and defense operations. This role provides hands-on experience through direct involvement in company projects, workshops, and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to team objectives by completing assigned technical tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project goals and requirements.
- Perform hands-on technical work assignments to build practical skills.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Standing as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
