About the role#
As an IT Support Technician Intern, you will participate in a summer program focused on gaining hands-on experience within the aerospace and defense sector. You will work alongside industry experts on real-world projects and develop technical and professional skills through direct involvement in company objectives.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to technical projects and team goals by completing assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
- Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Standing as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with strong organizational skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
