About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience in the defense and space manufacturing industry. You will work alongside engineers on real-world projects, receive mentorship, and participate in workshops to build your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to technical projects by completing assigned tasks and supporting team objectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Perform hands-on technical work to gain practical experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Standing as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Lone Tree, Colorado.
