About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join our summer program to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense sector. You will work alongside industry experts to contribute to real-world projects, develop your technical skills, and participate in professional workshops. This role is based in Plano, Texas, and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to technical projects and team objectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Perform hands-on technical work assignments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement best practices.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently enrolled in a university or college program.
- You should be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is required.
- You must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
