About the role#
Silimate is hiring software interns to build AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows for chip design. You will work directly with the founders on engineering design decisions and contribute to the development of software used by chip companies. This is an on-site position based in Mountain View that offers the potential to transition into a full-time role.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship AI tooling and agents using Python and C++.
- Act as a liaison with tooling partners.
- Collaborate with the founders on engineering design and architecture.
What you'll need#
- Availability for 15 to 40 hours per week in-person at our Mountain View office.
- Proficiency in writing and shipping high-quality code in Python or C++.
- Basic experience with VLSI through coursework or projects.
- A data-driven approach and the ability to work from first principles.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

- Compensation: Paid position with a monthly salary of $5,200 to $7,000.
