About the role#
Silimate is looking for an intern to build and ship AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows for chip design. This is an on-site role in Mountain View that can be part-time or full-time. You will work directly with the founders on engineering design decisions and contribute to the growth of our software.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship critical EDA software using Python and C++ for enterprise customers and chip companies.
- Act as a liaison with our tooling partners.
- Collaborate with the founders on key engineering design decisions.
What you'll need#
- Availability for 15 to 40 hours per week in-person at our Mountain View office.
- Proficiency in writing and shipping high-quality Python and C++ code quickly.
- Basic experience with VLSI through coursework or projects.
- An adaptive, data-driven approach based on first principles.
- Enrollment in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering programs.

- Compensation: $5,200 to $7,000 per month.
