About the role#
This internship at KSNV offers hands-on experience within a newsroom focused on the ARC concept. You will work on stories for broadcast and digital platforms, helping to shape coverage that connects with the local community. This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Research, write, and produce news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and in the field.
- Bring fresh story ideas to the team.
- Learn to shoot video and frame visuals.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and the production of live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or are a recent graduate.
- You have achieved at least sophomore standing at an accredited college or university.
- You are pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- You have reliable transportation.

- Location: Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Start Date: Between August 24th and September 14th.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks.
