About the role#
WPMI/WJTC is offering a news internship for Summer 2026. This role provides hands-on experience in the broadcast media industry. You will work on-site in Mobile, Alabama, to learn about newsroom processes and assist with daily operations.
What you'll do#

- Learn how a newsroom functions on a day-to-day basis.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be eligible to receive college credit for this internship. We will provide credit verification forms.
- We are looking for motivated students pursuing a career in news, journalism, communications, or media studies.
- You should be actively preparing for a future job in the industry.
