About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to observe the news production process from start to finish. You will gain experience by working in various time slots at KATV. This is an unpaid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily news operations.
- Learn how news content moves from initial planning to final broadcast.
- Participate in hands-on tasks across different shifts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Registration in an internship course for academic credit during the term.
- Ability to work 10-20 hours per week.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current studies in Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies (juniors, seniors, and graduate students preferred).
