About the role#
Sinclair Inc. is seeking a News Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This internship provides hands-on experience in a broadcast newsroom environment. You will work directly with our team to produce content for both broadcast and digital platforms.
What you'll do#
- Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and in the field.
- Bring fresh story ideas to the table to help shape our coverage.
- Learn how to shoot video and frame compelling visuals.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and the production of live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recent graduation.
- Sophomore standing or higher at an accredited college or university.
- Majors in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation.
