About the role#
Soccer Shots is offering a paid internship for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on youth sports management and provides hands-on experience in both field coaching and office operations. You will spend roughly half your time leading soccer sessions for children and the other half supporting business, marketing, and community event tasks. This position requires 30 or more hours per week, including weekend availability.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun, engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years.
- Assist with daily business operations and administrative tasks.
- Support marketing initiatives to grow the program.
- Help coordinate and run community events.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A genuine interest in positively impacting the lives of children.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to the office and traveling to coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Communications, or Psychology is helpful.

- This internship is based in Rockville, Maryland, with office work in Burtonsville.
- The term runs from August 17 to December 4, 2026.
- Work is structured as a hybrid format involving both on-site field coaching and office-based tasks.
