About the role#
This Federal College Work Study position at Southeastern College supports the daily operations of an assigned department. You will help maintain office workflows and assist staff, students, and parents with their inquiries.
What you'll do#
- Manage routine office inquiries from employees, students, and parents.
- Support the day-to-day maintenance and operational tasks of your assigned department.
- Handle clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing files.
- Take on other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in at least 3 credit hours.
- Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrated financial need.
- Proficiency with personal computer workstations and common software applications.
- Ability to learn and use multiple software programs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Capability to analyze problems and resolve them effectively.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to others.
