About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers an introduction to commercial banking operations and strategy. You will work alongside relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders to support real-time business initiatives. The program includes workshops, training sessions, and mentorship to help you build professional skills and gain insight into the banking industry.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs and recommend banking solutions.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers or guarantors, and loan document reviews.
- Support marketing activities to promote banking services and improve client engagement.
- Participate in program activities, including workshops, training, and special projects.
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to daily business operations.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while remaining detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The role requires working from the office 40 hours per week.
- The internship takes place during the summer of 2027.
