About the role#
As an Engineering Intern in Product Quality, you will contribute to projects that support the development, sustainment, and quality management of medical technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet high standards for safety, reliability, and performance. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while working on tasks that directly impact patient and hospital outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product sustainment.
- Work with suppliers to ensure components and manufacturing processes meet quality standards.
- Evaluate product risk and ensure user needs are met.
- Document complex processes and present them in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
