    About the role#

    As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join one of our teams focused on Research and Development, New Product Development, or Test Lab operations. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working alongside mentors to support our mission of improving healthcare.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify the needs and goals for future products.
    • Research new technologies, customer expectations, business requirements, and relevant regulations.
    • Design new products and manage them from the initial concept phase through to production.
    • Improve the safety and efficacy of existing products by analyzing performance data and customer feedback.
    • Experiment with early prototypes and conduct design verification testing to ensure technical specifications are met.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the conclusion of the internship.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based on-site in Redmond, Washington.
    • The position is full-time and follows a rolling term.
